All the Details and FAQ:
It’s a Floral Extravaganza!
Yay – A Swap!
Yes, I’m hosting another real-life #happymail event here in the studio. This time we’re sharing fabulous floral postcards – everyone gets a card PLUS special goodies from my studio!
How is this going to work?
Create a postcard inspired by your favorite flowers – no larger than 4 inches x 6 inches (10 cm x 15 cm) and no thicker than ¼ inch (6.35 mm).
- Register for the swap and get your personal registration code when your sign up completes
- Send your #HappyMail (Be sure to include that code!) to: Art Journaling for Beginners, PO Box 242, Enka, NC 28728
- Get a jam-packed package with your swap and other goodies back in the mail!
Why is there a registration fee this time?
To make it better! I’ve so enjoyed seeing all your beautiful work in past swaps and have learned a thing or two about how to make them better. Now, the return postage and packaging are included with USPS tracking so we can find them if they go awry in the mail. And now I can include studio goodies for you, which really makes me happy!
How big can I make it?
No larger than 4 inches by 6 inches, or 10 cm by 15 cm for our metric folks and no thicker than ¼ inch (6.35 mm). That makes it fit in the packages to send back.
How about sticking stuff to it?
Sure – you can add dimensional elements but don’t get too extra. If it’s fatter than three (3) quarters stacked up, it might take longer to get back to you.
What about international?
You’re in! Just register and send your flowery goodness!
Can I send more than one postcard?
Yes, you can! You’ll get one card for each one you send – Score!
What’s that address again?
Art Journaling for Beginners, P.O. Box 242, Enka, NC 28728
I’m collecting cards in the studio until May 31, 2021 so you’ll want to mail them US post by May 15 and international by May 1.
When are you sending them back?
I’ll mail them the first week or so of June 2021 so they should arrive by the end of June, but postal delays are completely beyond my control (darn it!). They will include USPS tracking numbers so if one goes awry, we’ll track it down!
Can we see them as you get them?
Oh Yes! I’ll be sharing photos of all the paper goodies as they come in!
What kind of postcards do you use?
I like these watercolor and mixed media cards from Strathmore. They’re sturdy, the right size and even have the post card marking on the back!
